Cupid's Kiss: a short, romance comedy

Cupid's Kiss was made in five days under the constraints of O2A2 Jam 2024. As such, it's a short game containing <1000 words, one sprite, one background, one music, one sound effect and one voice actor.
Due to erm, circumstances (aka I counted the words wrong the first time), we've released two versions:
- the full version (which you can play on web as well as download), with four endings which takes about 15-20 minutes to finish.
- the O2A2 version with one ending which takes about 5-10 minutes to finish and is
hiddenavailable in the downloads.

I do have plans to include translations in the near future and I've had a few offers from other kind people such as yourself, I just haven't gotten around to it yet. Tho one thing if i DID find a bit off was that we couldn't save our progress :C ngl i WAS getting kinda annoying going thru that whole thing again and again just to see different dialogues. Also i had shit memory so i would've liked if there was a place that tells u what endings you've unlocked

A Date With Death is definitely not a game made in five days and therefore it's far more complex and meaty than Cupid's Kiss. CK is mostly an experiment in reactivity and is definitely just meant to be a short play.
I just woke up put on my pink heart shaped glasses and went down a rabbit's hole of cuteness overload! I am still reeling from the aftereffects of whatever kind of drug this is but I want more of Virgil and of course where that fabulous boy toy buys his clothing!

The web version is the full version, so even if you can't download it, you should still be able to play it on your browser!
