Aaaa this was such a cute VN! I absolutely adore the visuals and voice acting, it was done so good and just the way Virgil's personality played off was such an endearing and fun experience! I absolutely adore his design, I would for real be lost staring at him because he is SUCH a pretty boy.
Also all the tropey things? Absolutely hilarious, I love the small banter and conversations we can see, and not just that but Ending 2 is by far my favorite (Ending 3 is also funny imo). Love the somewhat shift in atmosphere but now I so badly want to see a sequel where MC and Virgil employ all the tropes and banter over which is better or which person suits their assigned human-- Aaa the idea is so good and just well-done!
The scenario will live long in my head, but again, to everyone involved they did SUCH a great job bringing this VN to life. It really is the best and I absolutely loved it!

A Date With Death is definitely not a game made in five days and therefore it's far more complex and meaty than Cupid's Kiss. CK is mostly an experiment in reactivity and is definitely just meant to be a short play.
I just woke up put on my pink heart shaped glasses and went down a rabbit's hole of cuteness overload! I am still reeling from the aftereffects of whatever kind of drug this is but I want more of Virgil and of course where that fabulous boy toy buys his clothing!

I really think you nailed this game jam! With such restrictions you were able to make a beautiful experience and a very charming character. I managed to get all 4 endings and the 2nd one is my absolute favorite. Amazing job Dev!
