It was short but the best short visual novel l have played in a while. The art is absolutely gorgeous and Virgils personality/character is chefs kiss <3. Plus the voice acting was such a nice bonus too. I really wished there was more but it was still an amazing visual novel

Hopefully in the future we'll revisit the idea, but I'm really glad the Cupid Idea debuted in this short game, otherwise we probably woule not have been able to fully voice it.
I keep getting errors about transactions with a database? They come multiple at a time. Playing on Safari on Mac w/ Apple chip. The errors don't seem to impact gameplay though.

If there will be I'll be here waiting.... Waiting for how ever long it takes because I love that man now. His name also reminds me of a character from sunny day jack by snaccpop studios so when I heard his voice I immediately looked for the vas for the game and turns out it was just a coincidence.
I had a lot of fun playing this (and also reading the postmortem). It's funny how things go sometimes, and I'm happy this blew up because it's honestly great.
It was beautiful and adorable, I had such a good time. Every little touch between the character art, the UI, the background and the subtle animations as well as the cute and fun story made it a really gorgeous experience. Totally aspirational and incredibly inspiring, amazing work!

A very cute and quick game - loved the colours, art style and voice acting! Got ending 4 on my first go, which wasn't the ending I was aiming for, but I found it funny lol and then played the other endings afterwards hehe

A short and sweet dialogue with your cupid Cute, with extremely striking visuals, witty and engaging. Made me realize I wish I had a conversation like this with my cupid a few years ago :D
The artstyle, in addition to being an excellent hook when looking for games, is by far one of the most clean and polished ones I've seen in a long time, and it fits perfectly with the theme of the game ^^ The voice acting was really well casted and directed, allowing for all the emotions and thoughts of the character to gently flow out was amazing to see as well! While being fairly short, I think that it was able to do everything it wanted to do magnificently, and was able to deliver multiple emotions in a way that didn't feel forced or contrived.
Even though I'm not usually the biggest fan of these kinds of games, experiences as good as this are really starting to change my opinion on them as a whole for the better :D This game was really fun to play as well as record, and I'm rather excited to see if you publish or continue work on further projects! ^^

Omg I woke up to this comment and it made my entire morning - all I really want as a game dev is to drop the dopamine on players and run 😂 I really love super involved plots (usually with murder and betrayal) but this was a really nice change of pace from a dev perspective as well so I totally get you. I think the game did crash on me at one point, but it was so perfectly worded and at such a perfect point in the game right at the end that I was completely convinced it was part of the game. I do usually like darker plotlines, but something light is really nice every now and then, like you said.
Oh, this was quite a wholesome game! I played the full version and had fun exploring the different endings that were offered! Overall, I liked bantering with Virgil, and yet getting to know him, and to get all the pieces of lore the game had to offer! (I'm legit curious now about the whole cupid workplace, and also, they need more labour rights oh my god)
The art was positively gorgeous, be it the GUI, the sprite, the background and also, I need to note it, THE COLOURS! Amazing, chef's kiss, beautiful, iconic, daring, ambitious- more seriously, it was all very pop, very bright and it helped making the game a 100% wholesome experience (well, beside redacted).
The VA too was GREAT! Very fitting for Virgil, and the acting matched really well the tone of the game!
Congrats to the whole team for making this (especially since I think you joined O2A2 quite late? So quite an achievement!!)

You may also be getting a warning that reads "Windows protected your PC". To bypass this, click on the "More info" and "Run anyway".
If you're running the pc version, make sure you get the CupidsKiss-1.1-FULL version, it has some extra content and endings that the web version doesn't have anyway!
Hi, i tried everything you suggested and it still didn't work. It seems my pc has trouble running renpy games. I found a solution so i'll be able to play though. Thanks for trying to help me !

It's in the full, downloadable version 😂 We had to cut the 'f*ck off' end from the o2a2 version because it didn't fit the 1000 word limit
(edit: the full version is now the web version as well)
